Tires!!!

So today, I was out running some errands and I was about to go and drop something off at my cousin Ashley's house. I called her to see if it was ok to come and I told her I'd be there in about 15 minutes. As soon as I hung up the phone I realized that my car was pulling pretty dang hard to the left and that something was wrong. Not 5 seconds later I heard the horrible sound that comes with having a flat tire on the freeway. I hurried to pull over so I could asses the situation. Just as I thought...my driver rear tire was totally flat. So I called Ashley and told her I 'd be a little longer than expected and what was going on. She asked if I needed help and then I said that I'll check it out and see how hard it is and if I need help I'll call Steven. After I hung up the phone with her, I figured Steven would kill me if I tried to do it myself. So I called him. When I left he was outside doing yard work and didn't have his phone out there with him, so I crossed my fingers that he would pick up. To my surprise, he did. I told him what had happend and he came to my rescue (I also told him to bring the camera so I could take pictures!) I called Ashley to tell her that he was coming and that I'm learning what things are ok to be super independent in and what things are not.

Lesson 1: When you are 7 months pregnant, don't try or even think to change a tire, on the side of the freeway, by yourself! I thought about it, but quickly realized how hot it is in Arizona in the middle of September!!!!
Lesson 2: Always buy road hazard when you buy tires!!! It will save you lots of $$$$ in the long run!!!
Lesson 3: Don't buy Summitomo Tires. They wear out way fast! Stick with Goodyear or Michelin!!

Oh, flat tires are the worst.

It's October now, and it's still soooo hot. Yuck. Sometimes I hate Arizona.

I'm so glad you are ok. I'm always afraid that I will get a flat tire on the freeway and I so don't want it to happen. I'm glad you decided not to change it yourself too. That's what our men are for when we're pregnant!! Good Call!
